Mediate’19 is an international mediation competition for young lawyers and law students which will take place on 9-12 December 2019 at the premises of the Faculty of Law, University of Białystok. The competition is organized in a format created by the International Academy of Dispute Resolution, based in the United States, one of the oldest organizations aiming to promote ADR.

Mediate’19 will be composed of two parts: 2 days of mediation and negotiation training held by world-class mediators and 2 days of competition. Participating teams, who will be comprised of three participants each, will be competing in two categories: Mediator and Advocate & Client. This format enables the students to learn and try out mediation and negotiations skills as well as to explore specific aspects of the mediation process.

Our main goal is to strengthen the international community of lawyers interested in ADR and promote interest in mediation around the world.
